I was born and raised on a small cattle farm in Washington. Horses have always been my passion in life, and I fell in love with dressage at a young age. I have worked my whole life to become the best rider and horse person I can be. I started out my horse education in the United States Pony Club, and worked my up to being on medaling teams at the North American Junior and then the Young Rider Championship. I studied Animal Science/Pre-Vet at Washington State University before coming to Idaho in 2005 to get some lessons with top dressage rider, Debbie McDonald. This soon turned into a working student position and then a full-time job. Since then I have had the amazing support of Parry Thomas (owner of Brentina and Wizard). I have had the opportunity to train with some of the best trainers in the world, and compete in top competitions throughout the United States and Europe. Now I am looking towards the future, hoping to find ways to get the support and sponsorship it takes to stay at the top level of this amazing sport. It takes not only hard work, talent, and dedication, but the right horse to invest that hard work in to. I takes the right support team to help you reach your goals. I am incredibly fortunate to have Debbie McDonald as my coach and mentor, and I believe this makes a great team to bring up a horse to the top level of international competition.
