About This Video

In this Learning Center video, Dr. Katie Flynn covers three steps to ensuring biosecurity prior to an equine event: determining the disease status of venues, developing an isolation plan, and confirming competing horses are healthy by maintaining vaccinations and diligently monitoring horse health before an event. The Equine Disease Communication Center lists alerts for disease outbreaks across the country, so you can better identify if your horse has been exposed to disease.
